Fashion for Life has started and this year the sims are themed around time. I got a giggle out of finding Finnish aika amongst them, although the event itself is of course very serious. I’m sure you all know about the old Relay for Life events, benefitting American Cancer Society. This is them, just rebranded. In the spirit of time and finding the cure, I give you a thief of time: stealing it for those who need it most.
The latex Scorch outfit by Dare Designs makes the perfect look for a superhero fighting cancer. The precious time in her hands is actually a ring from the “It’s Time” set by Tres Beau.
As for the arcane portal she uses to travel through space and time, it’s the Twisted Hunt prize by Snow Bound. It comes with smaller portals and instructions how to link them together to use it all as actual portal system in your home sim.
While she works to give people more time it’s up to others to find the cure. Go shop. It’s definitely worth it.

Just a few more things from Steam Hunt still! It’s literally the last days of the hunt, many hunts, so if you haven’t yet picked up your favorites, now is definitely the time.
Since I grew up reading Marvel comics, I really couldn’t resist this steampunk-version of Phoenix by 22769 Casual Couture. It’s stunning, it’s fun, it plays with not only one fandom, but two. Much love. Mind you, the wings are by Top Katz and not a part of the outfit, I added them to the look since I was seriously lacking telekinetic phoenix-fire wing effects. Alas. The shiny pocket watch is by Amaranthus. Boots are by Addictia and not a part of the hunt.
I also had to photoshop these more than I usually do to remove hair glitching through her body, but I was so in love with this particular hair + cap combo by Red Queen (not a part of the hunt) that I was willing to compromise in photoshop. If the hair had been mod, I would’ve moved the locks around, but no can do. My apologies if the textures are flatter than they should be around her midriff and belt. As is obvious, I also used poster edges filter to aim for a more comic book look.
I also absolutely had to show this off: coffee-to-go pack by MadPea! Surely this is the source of all superpowers! The goggles on the cap are by MadPea as well, one of their bonus prizes. Pictures are taken in the Proteus Underwater House by Arkigrafx. Skin by League, eyes by Poetic Colors, lashes by Redgrave, eyeliner by P.ArT, the golden mask by Evie’s Closet and all the poses by Niqotine Poses, none of which are a part of the hunt.
Oh, and guys? 22769 Casual Couture has a Cyclops outfit for you to go with the steamy Phoenix~

For once I actually found something in my inventory when I searched with the exact colour name! I’ve found most of my colour-outfits from my inventory, but usually by either trying stuff on or searching by a base colour name and comparing to the sample. So here’s to Vasha of DV8 for having made an outfit and called the colour right!
Obviously when you dress up in DV8 you have but one direction to go: future! So I added a mask by DV8 to be really matchy, hair + hat by Pocket Mirrors, belt by Loulou&Co and fun geared arm-wraps by Trashville.
Where is Miss Firebrick, you might ask. Except in the future, of course. This is Bladerunner City, Offworld Colonies. Wonderful and extremely fitting place for her, go visit! I’m not really certain if she’s a bad girl up to no good or a good girl just very proficient in kicking behinds. I think I got the handgun back in the Zombie Killer days, but SL had eaten the creator from properties. I’m assuming the Grim in the name refers to Grimly’s Bloodbath and the combat system that was in use in there, though! The combat poses are by Niqotine Poses.
The bar code tattoos are by Gaea Designs, boots by Addictia, skin by The Plastik and the eyes by REPULSE. Most of these are old hunt prizes, not that I’m a hunt-a-holic or anything…

More loots! The setting is The Hollinger Vegas Skybox by La Flat, a gift from The Wild Man Hunt. I must say it’s the first skybox I’ve seen that has been clearly designed for men — there’s even pin-up pictures on the walls and some magazines on the window sill, a fireplace and absolutely no cutesy stuff. The city view was awesome, too. I was so amused that I had to take a couple of pictures there.
The cactus is by Clutter (Plant This Hunt) and most of the look is by Void. There’s a closing sale going on there, no idea for how long, but everything is just one linden per item/outfit. There was a lot of interesting stuff that I had to grab, despite grunge being very, very far from my usual styles. I’d especially like to draw your attention to the kamikaze dynamite belt and the bag with pirate symbols. Oh, and skull boots. And headphones. The hat-hair is by Waka & Yuki, from their latest lucky chair and both hat and hair are colour-change-scripted. What little you can see of socks is an old freebie/cheapie by Edge Grafica. The skin, eyes, lip stripe and armwarmers are by The Plastik. Pose by Olive Juice. The dragon face tattoo is one of the two prizes by Fallen Gods Inc. in Forces of Nature Hunt. (The HUD to hunt with costs 150L and goes to Japan Benefit.)
Here’s the lighter dragon tattoo, obviously worn with less clothes. That’s how you know it’s light. Right? …actually I just needed stiletto-heel and mini-dress therapy after the shorts and stompy boots. Skin, eyes, non-dragon tattoos and the mini-dress are by The Plastik — a part of that huge pile of Fantasy Faire freebies Aikea was giving to visitors during the weekend. Hair is by LOQ Hairs, boots are by Addictia and the pillow with poses is by Olive Juice, a freebie in the Pose Fair. The ring and the bracelet by Kosh are from Project Fur Japan.
So there you have it, dragons in Vegas. One to have fun there, the other to blow up the place to cover their tracks~
