Keep Calm and…

…Keep Shopping! It’s a new event starting on 14th May. It’ll feature and concentrate on event exclusives, which piqued my interest.  We all love exclusives, after all.

The crown on these panties by ~Songbird~ randomly reminded me of Sweden, so I styled the shopping girl with blonde hair. I know, I know, feel free to faint now. The skin by EgoxentriKax was so tanned that it made me realize that the Swedes are really the Californians of the north. (Shyntae, if you see this: please don’t kill me!)

There’s plenty of furniture in the event, the chair and cabinet above by [Park Place], the couch, the teddy bear and the bed in the other pictures by (:::am dsgn:::). The awesome wall decals are by Wall Candy.

Three Little Birds

Well, possibly quite not so little. Strictly speaking also not actually birds. But definitely three avian looks showing off the new Fallen Gods Inc. skins now available in The Tides of Fantasy Faire.

The skin-line is called feathers and is further divided into hawk, raven and dove, who all have different base skin tone options as well. Not to mention the possibility of making them PG. Obviously the base skins are not PG, but it’s delightful to be able to cover the parts that need to be covered for a flight in public.

The birdy-heads are covered in feathers so in theory you could even fly around bald, if you wanted to. Obviously such thing is a no-go for Sonya who would rather fly around completely naked than without hair, but it’s still excellent thinking! All of these birds are using Teeloh-hair by Wasabi Pills. It’s a new release available in The Tides and they do come with their own hairbase layers. The birdies don’t use them since I wanted to show the scalp feathers, but rest assured: the hair has its own as well.

As for the gorgeous mesh wings, they are by [europa] and the moment I saw Alia’s new skins I knew I had to have them. The feathers demanded actual bird-like wings, not angelic back-attachment. I blame Orcsy for this, what with her constant wing flaunting. Flaunting, I tell you! <3

52 Colours: Bright Turquoise

Diving into bright, strong, almost surreal colours after last week was practically a relief. I found a fitting skin and it immediately called for a lekku and so, tadah: Miss Bright Turquoise is a twi’lek adventuress!

This astonishingly bright turquoise matching skin is an oldie by .{Rue}., still easily yoinkable from the Marketplace. The lekku is by [ Infamous ] and I tinted it to the rgb values of bright turquoise. Playing around with it made me ponder why no one has made a mesh lekku yet. You’d think there would be a market.

I took the twi’lek on an adventure in the Doomed Ship. I definitely have to go and explore more there, I was paying more attention to how things looked like than what was happening otherwise.

The facial markings are a mix of Nuuna’s Skins and The Plastik with a whole body tattoo by Ngel Vella added to the mix. The adventuring outfit is a combination of PixelDolls and Bare Rose and the gorgeous cyber-arms are by Amorous. I’ve been waiting for an excuse to use them and Miss Bright Turquoise was just the right alien to show them off.

52 Colours: Tea Green

The busy life of Miss Tea Green! There’s all the flittering to do and bird tea parties to arrange and decorative leaf arrangements and flower therapy and and… the work of a fairy is never done!

Every time I transform into a petite I think that I should really do this more often. Such fun! Arranging scenes of appropriate size could keep me entertained for hours. Oh wait, it did! Miss Tea Green was brought to life by the hands of Alia Baroque of Fallen Gods Inc., she’s one of his crystal petite line.

I went on a fairy shopping trip to the Petite Avatar Kingdom where you can find all the things a petite could possibly want from hair to make-up and from mounts to furniture! I grabbed the outfit by Bare Rose and hilarious sky-tickle hair by Fantavatar from there to complete the look. Oh, and psst: #6 of the Great SL Photo Hunt,  you dancing in a field of flowers and butterflies: check!

Having magic makes pouring tea so much easier! Mr. and Mrs. Flitwing are of course from Happy Mood. The stump by Sway is from Home and Garden Market Hunt. The tray and associated noms are by Poche and the tea pot is by Love Soul. I set up the tea party in Ely’s home since she has fitting sim-prettifying magic galore~
