These fantastically festive Easter bunnies are hunt prizes in the Magic of Oz Easter hunt that ends this Sunday, so if you haven’t been to Oz yet, you better hurry! The egg with the small hedgie is also a hunt prize, the rest are gacha wins. Eggs and bunnies: perfect spring.

“But Santa gave the karot to you, since you don’t have a nose.” The bunling peered up at the snowman with a worried frown.

The snowman smiled — in truth, he smiled all the time because that’s the way he was made, but this time he meant it. “I have a perfectly good nose. I like it, all small and round. Makes me look cuter, too. You can have the carrot.”

The bunling beamed and shuffled his paws in the snow, glancing at the giant carrot, then up at the snowman again. “Are you suuuure?”

The snowman made a sound that tried to relay he would nod if he could move. “Yas. Merry Yule, little critter.”

“Happy Karot Dei!” The bunling responded, touched a paw to the carrot, then hopped closer to the snowman and pressed a small paw against his side. After a moment a decorative paw-scribble was decorating the snowman and the bunling began the Operation Drag Karot Home. He would share the treasure with his cousins and tell stories of the Snowman With Round Nose.

Forest Daughter’s Strange Day

On one sunny autumn day one of the Forest Daughters heard a peculiar sound. She wasn’t quite certain what it was, if it came up from the trees or down from the grass, or possibly the embrace of the bushes. It sounded a bit like hedgehog snuffling mixed with busy conversation. “You go!” “No, you!” “Don’t drop it!” “I get to press the button!” “You goooo!”

After some slow turns of her branches, she heard a voice. “Excuse me, pritti tree lady. Parrr-don. Could you possibly pick me up for a moment?” A white fluffy creature hopped out from the undergrowth and the Forest Daughter leaned down to pick him up. For a moment he just wiggled his nose at her. Then there was a flash of light, a cheer of small voices and the bunling hopped down with a quick “thank-youuu!” and was gone. 

He was followed by a strange line of squirrels and an otter balancing a camera on his head. The Forest Daughter tilted her head, then extended her branches in a shrug and focused back on the precious last rays of sunlight.

Bunlings wanted to participate in the Fallen God & Goddess Contest 2016, but knew they are physically incapable of qualifying by the rules, so they came up with a Cunning Plan: sneak into a picture with a creature that works!

You can find the said rules, deadlines and all the other information on the Fallen Gods Inc. blog, but the rough nutshell is: take a picture wearing a skin (or petite) from Fallen Gods Inc. and send it full perm to Sonya Marmurek before Friday 7 October 2016, 11 pm slt. All the contestants receive an exclusive skin prize, and there’s plenty of other prizes as well!

Borrowed Mane in the Summer Rain

After hearing about Wigs for Kids, Bunling That Knows Letters wanted to show that one can look simply fabulous by using a borrowed mane — even if the summer rain gets it in your eyes. 

A quick picture for Hair Fair Photo Contest 2016 with the theme Whatever the Weather. In this particular case, a warm summer rain that threatens to flop the fancy wig the bunling is wearing.

Nifflers at Work: Bunny Season

“Are you sure she said bunnies? It seems like there’s already plenty around here.” The chief niffler had doubts.

“That’s the point, isn’t it?” Bob, the second assistant niffler, nodded. “People always want more whatever it is that’s their treasure. Hers is bunnies!”

“Well, if it’s bunnies she wants, then bunnies she will get. Right, lads?” The chief niffler wiggled his snout determinedly. 

“Yesboss!” The small pack got to work of sniffing out bunnies. It was surprisingly easy, the surroundings were simply full of bunny-nests, hiding places and rollable grass.

“Bunnies, Bongo. Bunnies, not butterflies!” Chief sighed. “Fluffy hoppy things, not frail fluttery things!”

“But look, boss! The hoppy things are attracted to the fluttery things: find one, the others will follow!”

“Not bad, Bongo, not bad at all. …Bob, where did you… how did you… it’s a hoard-horde!”

“They were all in the couch, Boss! All in it. Just rolling and hiding under the pillows!”

“Well, lads, one thing is certain. She’s going to be the bunrichest lady in the world and we, WE are getting a bonus!”

Space Bunny: Guardian of Fluffzoid 8

The thing about the space bunnies of Fluffzoid 8 that isn’t mentioned to the tourists is that their leaders are shapeshifters. One moment a fluffy hoppy thing of bright colours, the next a guardian female of telekinetic powers strong enough to toss trespassers into orbit.

They take their job of guarding their smaller kin seriously: the majority of the bunnies are unable to shapeshift and simply enjoy their curious lives on Fluffzoid 8 sniffing, nuzzling and flopping about to enjoy the suns in the turquoise grass.

What is widely known, however, is that not one single bunny has been taken off-planet in the known galactic history. There are continuous attempts of course, ranging from official zoo and research expeditions to downright pet poaching. They all fail.

Therefore the only way to pet a space bunny is to travel to Fluffzoid 8, follow the safety regulations, bring treats and behave yourself. You never know who is hiding underneath that teal fluff and wiggly nose.

The Legacy of Maul skin by Fallen Gods Inc. is available in We Love RP and the hair by Olive (Sweetpea) can be won in this round’s Arcade. The outfit by r2 is not made for mesh bodies and does not have any appliers, I simply wore it over Maitreya’s Lara and alphad a teeny tiny bit on top. It worked otherwise fine but the boots clipped slightly around thighs in most poses. The body suit and gloves are available in Collabor88 right now.

The Bunny Painter

“When will the Bunny Painter arrive, Uncle?”

“Nobunny knows, young Splatter. She comes on a whim and a wish, when the spring sounds grow to a melody, when the scents of newgrowth tickle your nose, when the sun warms your ears. You close your eyes for a moment and there she is!”

“She paints everybunny colourful to celebrate the soon-summer, all the colours of the flowers and grass and sky and rainbows and birds and plants and stars and-“

“Stars aren’t colourful, Uncle. They’re just sparkly.”

“That’s only because you’re so young you haven’t been painted yet. Just you wait, young Splatter. Just you wait. When the Bunny Painter colours your life, even the stars will sparkle in brilliant glowing tones, alive and laughing!”

“I’ll stay up all night to see the colourful stars! All night! ‘n then I’ll wink at them and we’ll laugh together, the stars and I and the Bunny Painter.”

Magic of Oz Holi 2015 Hunt has started and lasts until April 16th. You can read about it in here or teleport to Magic of Oz, click the big poster to get the hunting platter and go figure it all out, it’s not difficult! The Holi Phalgun Purnima tattoo by Fallen Gods Inc. and the bunny masks by Ozimals are some of the prizes in the hunt. The elite Holi bunny is purchasable for as long as the hunt lasts. As always with the purchasable elites, the colouring is just a coat covering genetically a perfectly ordinary random bunny.

Easter Mystery

“So, if nobunny lays eggs and the birdies swear they’re innocent, where DO the eggs come from? Especially the chocolate ones.”

Of course I couldn’t resist, had to make a picture with a bun-tail for Easter. For someone who goes by that name all year long I indulge in too few excuses to wear the ears and tail. This is bunny-look-excuse prime time right now, so I simply had to. Just no pastels. Absolutely no pastels.
